Man Utd will consider cut-price January transfer exit for Jesse Lingard if England ace continues to refuse new contract

MANCHESTER UNITED will consider a cut-price £15million for Jesse Lingard in January if he continues to refuse a new contract.
The England forward has struggled to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting XI since his return this summer.
He has come off the bench to score a winner at former club West Ham and set up Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Villarreal.
The 28-year-old has been in talks over an extension to his contract, which runs out at the end of the season.
SunSport understands he has been offered terms around £135,000 a week, a decent increase on his current deal.
The academy graduate is interested in staying, but wants assurances he will get regular first-team action.
Lingard holds United close to his heart after a two-decade association.
The Red Devils do not want to lose him on a free at the end of the campaign, if he decides he wants to go.
So Old Trafford chiefs will discuss letting him leave in January if they can find a buyer.
Lingard is expected to get playing time in Champions League, cup competitions and off the bench in the Premier League.
United valued him at around £25m over the summer, but rebuffed interest from suitors.
West Ham, along with Leicester and other Premier League sides, have shown interest in the Warrington-born ace.

Irons kid on scoresheet for England
West Ham youngster Sonny Perkins was on target for England’s U18 side on Monday as they beat Russia.
The Young Lions recorded an impressive 3-0 win over their opponents in a friendly.
Seventeen-year-old Perkins has been developing well with the Irons and has recently broken into the U23 side, despite the fact that he is just a second-year scholar.
He made his debut for England’s U18s last month against Wales and now has his first goal, as he pulled a cross out of the air, dropped his shoulder and forced his way into the box, before shooting low into the bottom corner.
Perkins can play in a number of different positions and can operate as both a left winger, a centre-forward, a central midfielder, and an attacking midfielder.
He has been in excellent form this season and has already scored five goals this season in the U18 Premier League, in 23 games, while also registering three assists.

West Ham and Everton want Champions League wonderkid

CalcioMercato says West Ham and Everton are two of four clubs looking to sign Club Brugge wonderkid Charles De Ketelaere, ahead of January.
The 20-year-old threw his name into the headlines when he came off the bench to score for Belgium – during a Nations League third-place play-off.
His good run of form continues after netting four goals and three assists in 13 league and cup appearances for Brugge during 21-22.
His stats are impressive given he has been used up top, out wide and as a 10 so far. He has starred in the Champions League, with an assist at Leipzig.
De Ketelaere’s form is not going under the radar. Reports claim that both West Ham and Everton are keen, as are Serie A duo Napoli and Milan.
Where’s best for Belgian?
Right now, one would argue that continuing to impress with Brugge – winning league titles and playing in the Champions League, is best.
It probably is. But if De Ketelaere wants to test himself and reach the next level domestically, a move to Italy or England is best for the wonderkid.
At Napoli and Milan, De Ketelaere may find he struggles to get necessary game time – even though the latter do place plenty of faith in youth.
Competitions for places is large. Everton are lacking European football, reducing that game time – but West Ham need options and have Europe.
The London Stadium, then, might be the perfect destination for De Ketelaere. Football Transfers say he is rated at £22million.
